"I was introduced to you a year ago in February at a B.I.G. meeting in Sparta. I went on your site and fell in love! I have been an elementary school teacher for 12 years, but have been working with a girlfriend to start an apparel business that inspires others to love themselves and what they believe in. …I was taken aback by your "BE” blog and One Simple Wish. What you are doing has inspired me to go after my dream of taking a leap of faith and jumping into the business world. … Thank you for creating a site that has inspired me to continue this scary, yet exciting new journey. I have spent many years teaching my students that they can achieve whatever they put their minds to, and inspiring them to believe that they are amazing. Now it is time for me to practice what I preach. May the new year be amazing for you and your company.”

"What a wonderful and vibrant night of women bouncing ideas literally off one another! I really enjoyed the bantering back and forth of ideas and I think, as a group, we have potential for gaining a lot of momentum in both our lives and our businesses. Too bad I didn't get to keep the "certificate for Facebook/Social Media consulting" that we might have worked together immediately. I do look forward to connecting with you and your expertise…. It also became clear to me, with the help of the group that I need to do public speaking; that my message would best be communicated in person, through presentation or demonstration…. If you or anyone in the group has any ideas about places to speak, I would love to hear your ideas.... I look forward to our next meeting.”

Well, absolutely not the case here!! I am still talking about it my friends… I loved the conference and LOVE being a part of B.I.G. "

"I have been a full time stay-at-home mom for the past 11 years. As my kids got older, I started getting an itch to do something else. I've spent the last few years trying to get inspired to figure out what that next step might be. I was an event planner for investment banks prior to having my kids and always enjoyed the details of event planning. However, I knew I didn't want to return to that field since it requires many weekend hours and evenings. I wanted to do something that would give me balance so I could still be available for my three children. I've always had a knack for organizing and am constantly re-organizing my own house. After much self-reflection, a lightbulb went off. I could help other people organize and turn it into a business. The fear of actually doing something other than carpooling or arranging play dates set in. I attended a few meetings in the organizational field but came away feeling intimidated and uninspired. It was at one of these meetings that I met Lisa Carver, the Montville pod leader, and she told me about this exciting new organization she was involved in called B.I.G. I took her card, but again, was fearful to go to a meeting by myself. Several months went by and I finally got up the courage to attend my first meeting in the fall of 2010. I was so inspired and uplifted by the energy in the room. Even though I only had a business idea at the time, every woman I spoke to was so encouraging about moving forward towards my goal. I joined B.I.G. a couple of weeks later and have attended several meetings and events since then. Over the last few months, I've rigorously been researching the field of professional organizing and recently printed my business cards and sent out my announcement for my new business, Organize with Dana. Within a couple of days, I already had two consultations set up. I am so grateful that I am a member of such an exciting organization such as B.I.G. and feel so fortunate that I was able to overcome my fear of just getting started. I look forward to seeing where my business will take me and am thankful to B.I.G. for giving me the confidence to get started.
