Women's networking group relaunches in Millburn-Short Hills
Short Hills residents and co-leaders Joy Chang and Mallika Malhotra recently re-launched the Millburn-Short Hills pod of Believe Inspire Grow (B.I.G.), a networking community for women.
B.I.G. offers women in the community an educational, support and relationship building network for entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs. With 1,200 members, B.I.G. is rapidly growing in six states with 60 pods.
B.I.G. is currently seeking new members and women who are currently in transition, specifically stay-at-home moms who are now considering career options, or women who may have a business idea or need assistance making their business thrive.
Women in the local community are invited to attend B.I.G.'s monthly meetings, where they can connect with other women in a supportive environment and encourage each other's goals.
"Business Brainstorm" is the topic for May. The next meeting will be held on Monday, May 7, at 9:30 a.m., at Chyten Educational Services, 227 Millburn Ave., Millburn.
Attendees will have a chance to share a business or personal challenge while receiving feedback from the group. First timers may attend for free.
Each B.I.G. meeting will either feature a guest speaker and time for attendees to network, or will be member discussion sessions. Meetings cover various topics such as "The Art of Negotiation," "Building your Brand" and "Demystifying Social Media."
"You can't help but feel inspired when you're in a room full of women who openly share their ideas, their fears, their dreams and their success stories," Malhotra said.
